Some Bizarre Food

  Food is any substance or material eaten or drunk to provide nutritional support for the body or for pleasure. It consists of ingredients originated from plants and animals. Food can be anything that is edible or nutritional. Food in various countries differs as the cuisine tends to vary according to the culture. There are food that is considered a delicacy in one country, but they are disgusted in another country. Even-though some food are disgusted, they can be nutritional.

Monkey's brain
 Here are few examples of bizarre food. First example, balnut, also known as duck fetus. It is a fertilised duck egg, which has an embryo is still growing. This considered a delicacy in Vietnam, Cambodia and Philippines.This is considered a high protein, hearty snack. Second example, rats,which are eaten in parts of the world where food supply is limited, such as North Korea. This is described as being tough and stringy, with a taste like chicken.Third example, spiders, which are eaten in Cambodia. The texture is described as crispy-chewy and some say it tastes similar to crab. Fourth example, kopi luwak, which are coffee beans that come from civet's solid waste. This is the most expensive coffee in the world, with the prize ranging from $120 to $600 per pound. Last example, monkey's brain, which is eaten in parts of China. The monkey is usually alive, when its brain is being eaten. These are few examples of food that are considered bizarre in most cultures.

 In brief, there are food that is considered delicacy in one country, while being disgusted in another. Most of these food are eaten various reasons, such as for survival and nutrition. The examples mentioned above are all delicacies in their country of origin.
